Position Overview
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our dealer network within the assigned region. In this role, you will focus on driving sales, building strong dealer relationships, and ensuring the success of our products in the market. Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Goal Setting
● Establish sales goals for each dealer and drive performance to meet/exceed targets.
● Develop and implement regional sales strategies that align with company objectives.
● Regularly monitor dealer performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
● Track sales activities, progress, and regional performance using internal systems.
2. Dealer Development & Relationship Management
● Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective dealers.
● Provide product training and continuous support to ensure dealer success.
● Visit dealers regularly and offer training on product knowledge, sales, and best practices.
3. Product Knowledge & Expertise
● Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of PDC Spas' products and how they compare to competitors.
● Keep up with industry trends, product innovations, and competitors to advise dealers.
4. Regional Sales Strategy Execution
● Review regional markets, sales trends, and competitors to refine strategies and find growth opportunities.
● Work with marketing to run regional campaigns, promotions, and product initiatives that engage dealers and customers.
● Attend trade shows, industry events to promote the brand and expand the dealer network.
5. Customer & Market Focus
● Support dealers to ensure excellent service and high customer satisfaction.
● Collect feedback from dealers and customers to help product development and marketing improve our offerings.
● Help assist dealers troubleshoot and solve sales and customer issues.
6. Administrative & Reporting Duties
● Regularly submit sales forecasts, reports, and required documentation on performance, trends, and opportunities.
● Maintain an accurate regional budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
● Uphold company policies, standards, ensuring consistent, professional representation of PDC Spas in the region.
7. Lead Generation:
● Find new business opportunities and work with sales leadership to secure dealer partnerships.
● Investigate all markets in the territory and understand key prospective dealerships.
● Provide prompt and complete follow-up of all sales leads and activities.
● Record all actions and all opportunities.
8. New Dealers:
● Set-up and provide ongoing in-field representation for new accounts less than 12 months.
● Complete all paperwork & approvals necessary in setting up each new Dealer.
● Provide initial in-field PDC Spas Dealer training within 3 weeks of first order.
● Appropriate time dedicated to developing new business to achieve goals.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the pool, spa, or wellness industry.
Skills:
● Strong sales and negotiation skills.
● Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and relationship-building abilities.
● Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
● Ability to train, mentor, and support dealer partners.
● Problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
● Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of hydrotherapy products, competitive landscape, and regional market dynamics.
● Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
● Travel: Willingness to travel 50% of the time within the assigned region. Including occasional weekends. Varies Seasonally Within Industry Norms
